This lovely car was bought in Arles , France several years ago and shipped to the US where it was restored. This Citroen is in superior condition and an excellent driver. It can be shown and driven comfortably on US roads. The Citroen is well-noted for its handling and drivability. . Many photos available. This model is a Legere. There were two Citroen models in 1938, the Legere and the Normally. The Legere is the smaller, or sportier version of the Traction. A US equivalent might be the difference between a sedan and a coupe or hardtop. The specifications: The chassis number is 393195. This means the car was manufactured in France in 1938 and that it is type. This is confirmed by the chassis plate: type 11, series BL. The engine in this car is the 116.6 ci, 46 hp type. In 1938, 35,798 cars of this type were made in France . Also a few thousand in Belgium. The Belgian cars are different in details and were sold in Belgium and Holland.
