| The first year offering of the GTO Judge! Of the 6,820 orignal cars produced, only 108 were convertibles! Of those, only one was ordered as a triple black, Ram Air IV, 4-speed manual, air-conditioned example! This is a tribute of that very car!! We are delighted to offer this 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible finished in classic and desired Starlight Black with black interior and convertible top! Just finished from a complete frame-on restoration in November 2009, the results are truly stunning! This car originally hailed from Upper Darby, PA where it sold new from Register S. Pontiac on December 1968. It stayed there in West Chester until just earlier this year. As a beautifully survived 70,642-mile example, it proved to be an exceptional platform to produce a Judge tribute! Original factory options on this car were numerous and include a numbers matching 400ci V8-4bbl, bucket seats with console, Air conditioning, Power disc brakes, Power steering, Power convertible top, AM/FM pushbutton radio with power antenna, Power seat, Power windows, Hide-a-Way headlamps, Electric clock, Head Restraints, and 3.23 Safe-T-Track rear end! The PHS documentation is available and will be provided to the new owner. Late this Fall, this car received a professional, bare metal component repaint in a high-gloss black! The mirror-like finish is remarkable! All the weather stripping on the body and window glass is completely new. The Judge decals were correctly applied. Other new items include the complete Ram Air engine system, hood tachometer, rear deck spoiler, fuel tank and fuel lines, interior carpet, door panels, convertible top and boot, Firestone Wide Oval Super Sport tires, master brake cylinder and booster, exhaust system, front ball joints, rear shocks, and heavy duty front springs. This car is fantastic and will prove to be far less costly that tracking down the real thing! Today, original Judge convertibles in this condition are known to bring unbelievable 6-figure price tags!
